The Barn R/C Raceway is excited to offer track memberships starting in July 2024. These memberships allow access to the track during daylight hours, and discounts on race fees. Members are expected to help out with the track when needed and treat the track with respect, as if it were their own.
Member Benefits
- Free practice through the week, as long as it has been communicated with a track director.
- Free practice on practice days
- Password for WiFi (please, no movie watching!)
- $5 discount off first entry to all Barn-sanctioned events
- Access to the private membership Facebook page
Member Rules
1. Membership fee must be paid monthly – $50 per person per month
The membership fee must be paid by the 5th of each month. The first month, if partial, will be prorated. Your first payment will be the prorated month plus the first full month. For example, if you joined June 15, you would pay $25 for the remainder of June plus $50 for July. So your first payment would be $75.
2. Each member is responsible for their guests
If a member brings a non member to the track for anything that is not a “sanctioned” track event, their actions are the responsibility of that member. That member is to collect practice fees from the guest, or guests, and get said money to track management.
3. Track maintenance and cleanup
Before leaving, members are to make sure gates are locked and secured; the air compressor and all water is turned off; trash is picked up, and the area is clean overall. If asked to blow off or water track before leaving, please do that as well.
4. Treat it as if it were your own
Treat every part of this facility as if it were yours.
5. Be ready and available to assist at events
This is a big one! You may be asked to help with blowing off or watering the track, or anything else that needs to be done to prepare for an event. We cannot always do this alone, and in order to make sure we all have a good time, we need to work together to get tasks done.
Don’t be afraid to reach out if you have any questions, concerns or comments. Please voice them to one of the track directors, as this will be the best way to get something handled.
Most of all, have fun. It’s toy cars we’re dealing with!
